Yesterday’s Classes Were a Blast!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and gave their time and effort to join us—we truly appreciate you all!

Special thanks to Coaches Ian and Owen for sharing your time, talent, and energy with us, and for making the trip all the way from Puerto to Aborlan. Maraming salamat po!

To our leader and kuya, Coach Jay Ar, and Kuya Aldwin—thank you so much for all your efforts and for making this class possible. This wouldn’t have been a success without you both.

We’d also like to acknowledge the presence of Coach Prince—thank you for accompanying the coaches, spreading good vibes, and joining the choreo sessions with us.

Dancehall Choreo Class by Coach Ian Garcia

Thank you, Coach Ian, for your dedication and for sharing your knowledge of Dancehall with us. Through your class, our community was able to gain a deeper understanding of what Dancehall truly means—not just as a dance style, but as a culture.

We also appreciate the new vocabs you introduced to us. We’ll definitely remember them and hope to apply what we’ve learned in our future choreographies.

Afro Choreo Class by Coach James Navarro

Thank you so much, Coach James, for your dedication and for introducing us to the vibrant world of Afro choreography. Your passion and energy made the class not only fun but also deeply enriching. It’s truly important for us dancers—especially in today’s generation—to understand the roots and cultural significance behind the movements we perform.

Through your class, we were able to gain a deeper appreciation of Afro dance, not just as a trend, but as a meaningful expression of identity, community, and history. Learning about its origins and essence helped us connect more authentically with the style and reminded us how vital it is to honor and respect the cultures we draw inspiration from.

Coaches Ian and Owen are coming back to Aborlan! Yes, you heard that right—they’re returning to teach an incredible choreography, created especially for us!
