Konoagil - Lae Chapter

*The story*

A farmer in an African village sets traps to keep monkeys and baboons away from his maize field.
One day, the farmer doesn't show up to chase away the animals.
The monkeys and baboons all celebrated when they hear that the farmer had died.
The following year, there is no maize.
The monkeys and baboons realize that the farmer who used to chase them away was actually the farmer who was growing their food.

*The moral*

The story teaches that people may not understand the value of someone's actions while they are alive, but they will recognize their importance after they are gone.
