Security Alert - Blackouts
Via WhatsApp
Good night all,
Due to continued blackouts, we can expect OBT squad activity.
Be alert and take extra precautions. When you are asleep, ensure someone or your security guard remains on high alert.

π¨ Where is Central Hospital? π¨
PM James Marape promised Central Hospital 7 years ago, still nothing on the ground. Incompetent leadership that plans forever but never delivers. ποΈβ Don't promise if you can't build.
Same PM, Tari-Pori MP, also promised 22 hospitals for 22 provinces. After 7 years, not even one is built. Just words. π£οΈπ¨
Meanwhile our health system is collapsing. No medicine, no basic equipment, not enough doctors and nurses. Rural aid posts are closed and ordinary people suffer every day. π₯ππ·
Only churches are keeping basic services alive. Without them PNG would have become a banana republic long ago under Marape-Rosso. βͺπ
Leadership is not big announcements, it is results. People need hospitals that are built and working, not promises repeated each election. βπ΅π¬
The Marape-Rosso government must explain what happened to these commitments and why the people are still waiting. β³

π΅π¬ | PM Marape Calls for Calm in the Defence Force
π¨ Prime Minister James Marape, who is also acting Defence Minister, has called for immediate calm, discipline and order after reports of unrest and an illegal roadblock by a small group of soldiers at Murray Barracks this evening.
πͺ PM Marape says:
βStop now. Return to barracks and report to your commanding officers.β
βDiscipline is the foundation of our Defence Force, and actions that undermine order will not be tolerated.β
He stressed the incident involves only a few personnel and does not reflect the professionalism of the wider PNGDF β all other commands remain stable and operational.
β At the same time, the PM issued a strong warning: unlawful gatherings, roadblocks, or anything that threatens public safety will lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal.
π βSome may have acted out of distress or misinformation,β Marape said. βBut now is the time to act responsibly. PNG is dealing with disasters and economic pressure β we cannot afford instability in our disciplined forces.β
He ended by urging every soldier to uphold their oath and help build βa modern, disciplined and professional Defence Force Papua New Guinea can be proud of.β
