So the last time I posted, it was a long caption about the beaded clutch I'm working on compared to one I made and kept, and now here is a progress update so far. Take note, I did not work on it two nights in a row, coz I was completing something else besides this piece. Compared to the beaded spirals that were scattered with cowrie shells, they are now connected and it's looking very pretty for the piece I imagine it to be😍 I'm more into details, so when I work on this piece and I don't get the bead work as close to each other on the fabric as I want them to be, I take a break and do something else to wait for the next time I get in the zone to actually do better. I think everyone should atleast try to perfect their art when they share it with others. What you make, speaks more about who you are. A measure of hardwork shouldn't be about a single piece or a batch one makes at a particular time, but about a continuous effort to perfect something 'over a period of time', please take note of that if you are one to make comparisons of quality and "hardwork".

So am currently working on three pieces. But this one is for the spotlight today because I decided I should start posting behind-the-scenes updates on stuff like this that I make because most people don't believe that I actually make all my beaded stuff 😅
Back in 2024, I had the privilege of working on a Beaded Clutch with Tiger cowrie shells from my dad's home island and it was an inspired piece that I never wanted to sell and kept for almost 2years now hehe It has been to 🇯🇵 and back, and I still love it just as much as the day I completed it😊 I used jumbo beads because I wanted the colours to pop and not fade. And since I never used the beads on alot of stuff I knew they would look great on the clutch and they sure are!

This time, I decided to use tiny beads that I salvaged from a clutch I bought that I didn't like because it gave "Cheap" and "no-consideration-for -quality" vibes that I wanted to recreate my own piece instead and do the beads justice🫢 so, this time, since I have been bored out of my head on my free time, I decided watching bead embroidery and drooling over other people's work isn't enough, why not make my own version using tiny cowrie shells this time to test my level of beading🤣 so I have come to the conclusion that I do have the patience for tiny beads and that all it takes is sheer willpower to carry on with my life🤣 jokes aside, I will keep you all posted as I bead this clutch or purse or whatever piece I think this should be as I go along. Went through my beads stock and found these cute beads that I knew would go very well with gold beads and decided since I keep leaving everyone in suspense on when I will be posting it was time to come back with these pairs😍 Most times when I bead stuff I wish people who see the pieces I make get my vision on how they should style their outfits with them but I can't dictate what someone does with them after they leave my humble abode to their new home so I just hope they are loved, cherished and that they find their person and forever home. Am I talking about beads as if they're human?
