This July has been an incredible experience for our volunteers ✨️
They had the opportunity to travel, explore many beautiful places across Peru, and connect with local communities, learning more about Peruvian culture while gaining a broader perspective on the world 🌄
Together, they also helped install a wind turbine for a family living in the Peruvian Andes, contributing to greater access to clean, renewable energy ⚡️🍃
We are truly grateful to each and every one of you, not only for supporting our mission, but also for sharing so many unforgettable moments with us. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and kindness made this experience special for everyone 💚
Thank you so much, and we wish you a safe journey home. We hope to see you again someday! 🫶

Build a wind turbine. Power a family's future.👩🏭👨🏭
Join our 4-Week Wind Turbine Program and experience the full journey of a renewable energy project. Working alongside the WindAid team, you'll build a complete small-scale wind turbine from scratch in our workshop before traveling to a rural community in Peru to install it for a family without access to reliable electricity.💡
This is more than a volunteer experience, it's an opportunity to develop practical engineering skills, immerse yourself in a new culture, and make a lasting impact through sustainable energy.⚡️
No matter your background, if you're eager to learn, work as part of a passionate team, and help bring clean energy to communities in need, we'd love to welcome you.💚

Tim Burdett, a Mechanical Engineering Professor from Messiah University, shares his experience partnering with WindAid.
Tim and his team helped develop a new device for our wind turbine installations called the Turbine Monitoring System. This technology will play a key role in identifying sites with strong wind resources and monitoring the performance of our wind turbines over time, allowing us to make data-driven improvements in the future.
Thank you, Tim, and to your entire team for your hard work, dedication, and willingness to support our mission!
