🌱 Deep in our hearts, our mission to protect the Peruvian Amazon remains as strong as ever.
At Semillas Life, our dedication to biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and supporting local communities is what drives everything we do. Lately, we have faced a very difficult challenge: due to a temporary lack of funding, we have had to hit pause on our field projects. While this breaks our hearts, we want you to know this is not the end. We are fully committed to returning stronger than ever to continue our vital work in the beautiful Amazon rainforest of Peru.
📚 To keep our vision alive and build a sustainable future for our conservation efforts, we have been pouring our love into a very special project: Laly Llama Books. This children's book series is more than just a creative dream; it is a bridge to fund our environmental and social impact projects on the ground. Through the eyes of Laly, we are teaching the next generation about global cultures, kindness, world history, and environmental conservation.
The beautiful adventures of Laly Llama are coming very soon in multiple languages, and every book will help us breathe life back into our Amazonian projects

At Semillas Life, our Wildlife Conservation Internship puts you on the front lines of tropical research in Codo del Pozuzo, Peru. 🇵🇪✨
Our camera traps are the "eyes" of the forest, capturing the vital movements of the Pachitea River basin's diverse fauna. In this footage, our team documented:

COMUNICADO A LA OPINIÓN PÚBLICA:
En esta jornada electoral decisiva para el destino del Perú, nos dirigimos a la ciudadanía para reafirmar nuestra postura frente a las organizaciones políticas que hoy pretenden perpetuarse en el poder tras haber capturado y debilitado las instituciones de nuestra República.
Nuestra posición es clara: El Perú no puede seguir en manos de quienes han priorizado sus intereses particulares sobre el bienestar de la nación.
1. El blindaje al crimen y la inseguridad
Mientras el país desangra, pasando de 2 muertes diarias por sicariato en 2019 a 6 muertes diarias en 2025, este Congreso ha legislado a favor de la impunidad. Han aprobado leyes pro-crimen que obstaculizan el trabajo del Ministerio Público y la Policía Nacional, dejando a los ciudadanos desprotegidos frente a la delincuencia.
2. El asalto al presupuesto público
En los últimos 5 años, el presupuesto del Congreso se disparó de 300 millones a más de 1,400 millones de soles. Mientras los congresistas se reparten bonos exuberantes, viajes y seguros privados, el Perú real sufre:
-Recortes al Poder Judicial y a programas como Beca 18.
-Colegios en provincias sin infraestructura básica.
-Centros de salud desabastecidos, sin personal ni equipos.
3. La destrucción de la educación y el medio ambiente
Han desmantelado la SUNEDU, canjeando el futuro de nuestros jóvenes por los intereses de dueños de universidades mediocres. Asimismo, han entregado nuestra Amazonía a la minería ilegal mediante leyes que destruyen nuestro patrimonio natural.
4. Captura de instituciones y golpe a la democracia
Bajo un esquema que recuerda las épocas más oscuras de los 90, han copado instituciones clave: el TC, la Defensoría del Pueblo, la JNJ y el Ministerio Público. Hoy, el equilibrio de poderes es inexistente:
Han modificado casi media Constitución a su medida.
Destituyen a fiscales que persiguen el crimen en el poder, como Delia Espinoza y Domingo Pérez.
Han creado un sistema donde pueden remover presidentes a voluntad, mientras ellos se vuelven intocables.
La lista es interminable.
Nuestra Conclusión
El Perú no necesita más de lo mismo. Necesitamos rescatar la decencia, la meritocracia y la justicia. Por la seguridad de nuestras familias, por la educación de nuestros hijos y por la dignidad de nuestra patria:
