The College’s 2023-2024 Scholarship application is open for current and incoming students for submission through April 15, 2023. Students are encouraged to apply by visiting the College’s scholarship web pages and selecting “COD Scholarship Application.”

The College currently administers 160 scholarship funds and awarded over $440,000 in scholarships at the start of the 2022 fall term. Students who submit the online scholarship application will be applying for all College of the Desert scholarships through one application.

The 2023-2024 California College Corps Fellowship at College of the Desert is now open!

College Corps is part of a state grant that is designed to reduce college debt, engage college students in public service and leadership opportunities, and better the community. Applications are now being accepted through March 27, 2023.

In partnership with Find Food Bank, College of the Desert joins a statewide effort to tackle ongoing challenges. Students who complete 450 hours of services with College Corps will receive the following benefits:

• $7,000 stipend, plus $3,000 Education Award
• Real-world job experience
• Access to training, networking, and professional development
• A sense of pride and accomplishment in working toward a common purpose alongside young leaders from across the state.

College of the Desert will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Cravens Student Center on the Palm Desert Campus.

Donors will receive a $10 In-N-Out Burger gift card, while supplies last.
