We have always done what we loved- this was never about making money- it was always about allowing us to spend more time on the water and in the mountains. As we grew we realised we had a responsibility to protect the places we travel through and a responsibility to operate as safely as possible. By continually trying to excel we encourage other local operators to raise their standards too. the day you stop, you might as well give up.

Peru is home to thousands of historical sites, and these places are in spectacular locations, from the Amazon rainforest to the deserts on the coast and the high Andes. Peru has something for everyone. Can you name some or all of these historical sites?

We got some new photos from our friend Bear of our biking trip from Cusco to Pisac, stopping at Tipon ruins, Oropesa and getting a nice meal along the way. A truly spectacular way to arrive in the Sacred Valley.

The best way to visit the ruins in Cusco is to cycle between them and experience the true nature of the Andes. With our E-bikes, you can effortlessly glide between the Inca sites, allowing you to absorb the local history and culture.

Today is Corpus Christi, and Cusco has a special way of celebrating. During the festival, 15 saints are paraded around the main plaza and placed inside the cathedral, where they symbolically “discuss” the city’s future. They are later paraded again and returned to their churches to rest until the following year. The traditional food eaten on Corpus Christi is chiri uchu (“cold food”), which includes guinea pig, fish eggs, tortillas, cheese, and more.
