شاركت ⁧‫ ‬⁩ ضمن ⁧‫ ُمان_للاستدامة‬⁩ 2026 في جلسة حوارية نظمتها العُمانية للغاز الطبيعي المُسال، بعنوان "استشراف مسار الاستدامة الوطنية عبر التوطين الصناعي"، وتناولت تنامي دور التوطين الصناعي باعتباره ركيزة إستراتيجية لدفع مسارات التنمية المستدامة وترسيخ الجاهزية الوطنية ودعم التحول الاقتصادي على المدى الطويل في ⁧‫ ُمان‬⁩.�‏ �‏ومثل أسياد للحوض الجاف في الجلسة يعقوب الوائلي، رئيس سلسلة التوريد، وتحدث عن الصناعات البحرية والقيمة المحلية المضافة والدور المتنامي للإمكانات الصناعية الوطنية في دعم مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040 وطموحات الحياد الصفري بحلول عام 2050. �‏ �‏وسلط الضوء على مشروع بناء أول قارب سحب يُصنع في عُمان لصالح الشركة العُمانية للغاز الطبيعي المُسال، مؤكدًا على دور أسياد للحوض الجاف في تطوير القدرات الصناعية المحلية عبر منظومة متكاملة من الخبرات البحرية واللوجستية، بما يسهم في تعزيز مرونة سلاسل الإمداد، وترسيخ الاستدامة التشغيلية، ودعم التنمية الصناعية الوطنية في القطاع البحري العُماني على المدى الطويل.

‏As part of Oman Sustainability Week 2026, ⁦‪ ‬⁩ participated in a panel discussion organized by Oman LNG, titled “Charting the Course for National Sustainability through Industrial Localization,” exploring how industrial localization is becoming a strategic driver for sustainable development, national resilience, and long-term economic transformation in ⁦‪ ‬⁩.�‏ �‏Representing Asyad Drydock during the session, Yaqoob Al Waili, Head of Supply Chain, highlighted maritime manufacturing, In-Country Value (ICV), and the role of local industrial capabilities in supporting Oman Vision 2040 and national Net-Zero 2050 ambitions.�‏ �‏He also shed light on the first Omani-built tugboat project for Oman LNG, highlighting Asyad Drydock’s role in advancing local industrial capabilities through integrated maritime manufacturing and logistics expertise that support supply chain resilience, operational sustainability, and long-term national industrial development across Oman’s maritime sector.�‏⁦‪

في إطار مشاركة أسياد في أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة 2026، شارك عصام الشيباني، نائب الرئيس للاستدامة، في جلسة حوارية تناولت الحوكمة البيئية والاجتماعية والمؤسسية، وأطر الاستدامة، إلى جانب منظومات الإفصاح والتقارير وآليات التطبيق طويل الأجل عبر مختلف القطاعات الحيوية.

وسلطت الجلسة الضوء على التحوّل المتسارع من الإفصاح في مجال الحوكمة البيئية والاجتماعية والمؤسسية إلى مرحلة التنفيذ الفعلي، حيث باتت الاستدامة تُقاس بمدى اندماجها داخل هياكل الحوكمة والأنظمة التشغيلية وعمليات اتخاذ القرار على مستوى المؤسسة ككل.

كما أكد على حرص مجموعة أسياد على دمج معايير تلك الحوكمة عبر مختلف العمليات، بما يشمل الشحن والموانئ والمناطق الحرة والحوض الجاف، والمستودعات، لتصبح الاستدامة جزءاً من المنظومة اللوجستية الأساسية وليس وظيفة منفصلة عنها.

واختتم بالإشارة إلى أن تقارير الاستدامة لا تحقق قيمتها الحقيقية إلا حين ترتبط ارتباطاً مباشراً بالحوكمة والمساءلة والأداء التشغيلي، مدعومةً بأنظمة بيانات موثوقة ومعايير إفصاح عالمية معتمدة.

As part of ’s participation in Oman Sustainability Week 2026, Essam Al Sheibany, VP Sustainability, joined a panel discussion on ESG governance, sustainability frameworks, reporting ecosystems and long-term implementation across key sectors.

The discussion underscored a clear shift from ESG disclosure to ex*****on, where sustainability is increasingly defined by its integration into governance structures, operational systems and enterprise-wide decision-making.
He emphasized that at Asyad, ESG is embedded across shipping, ports, freezones, drydock, and warehousing, making sustainability part of the core logistics system rather than a standalone function.

He concluded that ESG reporting only creates real value when it is linked to governance, accountability and operational performance, underpinned by reliable data systems and global reporting standards.
