🌍 On this World Environment Day 2024, we pledge to restore our land and make peace with our planet. Our land provides us with everything we have today, so let's unite to be part of the solution. At Birba , sustainability is our core focus. As an organization, we recognize the urgency and dedicate our efforts in media, events, and advertising to promote sustainable energy solutions. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

This week, we had the privilege of hosting the first meetings of the Executive and Technical Committees at RCREEE's headquarters in Cairo. These sessions were highly productive, generating numerous innovative ideas for the themes and agenda of the upcoming Cairo Sustainable Energy Week (CSEW). The organizing teams of Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and Birba had the chance to meet with some of our esteemed committee members.

The 3-day event, scheduled for October 1-3, will feature a series of thought-provoking conferences and workshops tackling critical global energy issues. Topics will include renewable energy, hydrogen fuel, energy storage, carbon sequestration, and clean fuels, all aimed at enhancing energy efficiency.

Discussions during the meetings focused on energy enablement in the MENA region and fostering better collaboration. Key themes proposed for include climate financing, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), artificial intelligence in renewable energy, green hydrogen and ammonia, carbon markets, and both technical and policy frameworks.

The Executive Committee meeting was chaired by Dr. Jauad El Kharraz, and the Technical Committee meeting was led by Maged Mahmoud. We are excited to incorporate these valuable insights into and look forward to the enriching discussions that will take place at the event. We extend our gratitude to all the members who participated in the first committee meeting for CSEW.

We were honored to welcome H.E. Khaled Mohamed Rady, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman, at the Birba Press Conference on April 30th, held at the JW Marriott. It was an incredible event where we introduced our revamped brand identity, GLOBAL HYDROGEN SUMMIT (GHS), as we expand our reach worldwide, marking a monumental step in renewable energy innovation. Our transformation reflects our commitment to exploring Hydrogen's pivotal role as the fuel of the future on a global scale. 🌐

Next stop: Cairo! Join us for GHS- Cairo 2024 which will be part of the Cairo Sustainable Energy Week from Oct 1-3 at The Grand Egyptian Museum.
