Architectural Split‑Level, Full‑Exposure Satin
Architectural home in Browns Bay with a split‑level layout and a full‑exposure satin polished concrete finish.
The floor runs clean and consistent from entry through to the coastal outlook, tying the timber, glass, and level changes into one material story.
Soft sheen, natural light, and a controlled aggregate reveal — a finish that suits the architecture without competing with it.
Modern, coastal, and built for longevity.
Browns Bay, Auckland.

Renovation work demands a different level of control.
Every slab comes with its own history — spalls, aeration, cracks, joints, failed coatings — and each one needs a different repair system to bring it back into specification.
We rebuild the surface properly before the refinement even begins.
Multiple repair methods, heavy densification, and solvent‑based sealing — never water‑based topical guards.
The finish is structural, not cosmetic.
This is where experience shows.
Renovations aren’t something we “also do” — they’re a specialty.
And the results speak for themselves.

300 m² of heavy‑grind Superfloor Platinum carried through an architectural home.
A full‑exposure finish that reads as one continuous material surface — refined, consistent, and resolved from edge to edge.
The clarity in the aggregate, the uniformity across thresholds, and the controlled reflectance all speak to a process built on sequencing and precision rather than chance.
A floor that becomes part of the architecture, not an afterthought.
This is the standard we aspire to.

Heavy grind to high polish — Superfloor Platinum for rural build.
A premium finish delivered in a rural environment, built to handle real‑world use while still presenting at the highest standard.
Across every angle, the story is the same:
clarity, definition, and a distinction of image that only comes from controlled refinement.
A floor that reflects the room — and the discipline behind every pass.
This is the standard we aspire to.

Nil‑Exposure Finish (Auckland, Full‑Project Involvement)
A nil‑exposure finish completed on an architectural home in Auckland — a clean, modern surface that relies entirely on disciplined placement, curing control, and a full system approach.
We were involved from the ground up on this one, working alongside the builder and utilising our own concrete contractor to place and finish the slab. When the placement and the finishing system are aligned from day one, a nil‑exposure surface can achieve the clarity and consistency it’s known for.
With no aggregate reveal, there’s no room for shortcuts. Protection through the build and a complete densification and sealing system ensure the surface performs long‑term.
Another understated example of why builders involve us early when the finish matters.
Precast panels taken through a controlled grind to a honed architectural surface, revealing a calm, even material expression.
These elements form the structural and visual frame for the poolside cabana — clean geometry, consistent texture, and a finish that sits quietly within the wider landscape design.
The panels are delivered honed and ready for sealing once installed and the space is enclosed, allowing the final sheen to be set in situ for a unified architectural read.
Concrete as structure.
Concrete as finish.
Concrete as architecture.
