I tend to post on Instagram these days and somewhat neglect this site.🥴

FYI insta red_horticultural

So here I am back showing off my epiphyllums which, through much patience, are finally flowering after many years! … I may tend to them too much because a neglected, old motley one ,half potted up behind the shed has flowered better than all of these!!!!

Ambervilla Garden, Greytown.
Awarded with a four star rating from NZGardens Trust as a NZ garden of significance.
So chuffed to have created this garden. This was purely due to my client and friend James Thyne who believed in me the whole way through this journey. It definately was a growing up experience. !
And congratulations to Stablehouse Gardens for their 5 star rating, Whakapuni Station for their 3 star rating and all the other amazing gardens that were visited.

A new project I’m working on. This is an old coachman’s cottage. Aside from a wagon wheel, horse trough and a rose the slate has been cleaned.

Succulents galore at the Bach. I’m amazed how they love the conditions. We uncovered a bank to find the remains of a rock garden so we just built on that and added some epic pieces of driftwood…I’m in my world❤️

And Bastiaan Van Benthem creates a crossarm bench seat for my happy customers.
Not an easy task taking off all the insulators and working with hardwood.
Added help from Brent Oliver and Mr Harman.

Great use of a small space creating a sculpture walk and native plantings.

Video following my last post of THE BUND

Photos from RED Horticultural's post 22/07/2021

THE BUND. 260m long, 1.5km of Jute matting and 2300 plants. Its a noise barrier for a new subdivision. I designed and managed it through its stages. All the hard graft I contracted out to Aspen Landscaping…an epic job working on such a steep gradient .
