Back again at

That man and his hands in my pics!

We haven't been for a while and I love getting 3 kofta balls and a good dose of garlic from my upgraded naan.

My malai kofta, pimped naan served with rice and Mr had chicken bhuna with a plain naan and rice came in at $33. It is easily enough to count as a main meal.

Come on people, eat lunch here and then do your weekly shop at the lovely

Oh and to add a random suggestion for the owner, Ngon! Mount Vic!

I'm late to the party.... I had my first iced bear latte and loved it.

I work with the best people and we love to do a fun Friday involving coffee.

We met friends at in Greytown. Wow! What an excellent spot. I'm not often blown away by cafe/bakeries, this time I was.

The staff were so busy, the queue moved quickly, the area was kept impressively clean. The food and coffee were great. I loved my scone.

A stunning spot and you need to get there soon.

The last time I went to was a long time ago.

We've been walking past for a years and after seeing a couple of posts, we decided to go.

I'm so pleased we did. We had the loveliest welcome and the food was excellent.

I see many fried rice sticks in my future. My main was the Shanghai Style Tofu and delicious. An evening visit will be planned too.

Wellington...we have poutine. so the best poutine in Welly. The gravy is thick, the curds are proper and plentiful.

Our favourite family celebration restaurant has recently changed, we love the European atmosphere and the food at .

I didn't get many photos as we were focusing on the food and the chat.

The Toulouse Sausage and mash and giant ice-cream filled profiterole were delicious. As were all the other components.

In honour of my late mum, I love to have her favourite tipple- the Kir Royale (international on the menu).

Please go!

George Town, Penang. Our first morning was spent feeling slightly dazed and confused.

I had preplanned for this feeling by booking a wonderful tour with .walk.history.food .

We got orientated , went down side streets and had fab food.

Seriously worth it.

Oh and the real kaya jam is at

Have you ever stayed anywhere that feels like an honour and a dream?

We saw a friend photos of this hotel and worked our holiday around staying here

From NZ we flew to Singapore and then a quick flight to George Town, Penang.

Pulling up in our taxi, even in the dark, the hotel looked marvelous. Hotel isn't the right word for this place, I renamed it our hometel.

I don't think photos or words can describe this place. It has to be seen. If you can, go and stay there.

I must add, it isn't perfect, it isn't meant to be. It's an old building, the floors are wonky and the world outside is noisy.

To walk the corridors, sit and eat breakfast and too see the happy faces of everyone around is awesome.

I was an hour early for my medical appointment, I had to chose between Newmarket Mall or Chinese pancakes. The red beans drew me in. Very yum indeed.
Next time I will go savoury and sweet.
