We had a fantastic Saturday morning with Tom and Dean helping community members learn to fit their snow chains safely ⛓🚘

With winter in full swing, it was great to see people getting hands-on to prepare for icy and snowy conditions ❄. We highly recommend getting comfortable with fitting chains so you're prepared. Gloves and a knee board can come in very handy!

🚗Winter Chain Fitting Drop-in Sessions

Alpine Auto Centre, AA Three Parks, and Bridgestone Wānaka have teamed up to offer a free chain-fitting drop-in events at Bridgestone Three Parks.

With QLDC now enforcing chain requirements, drivers must carry chains and have someone in the vehicle who can fit them. If you are not prepared, you could risk a $750 fine. With winter in full swing and snow days on the horizon, we want to help our customers and community stay safe on icy and snowy roads.

Session dates
