This is what happens when the skimmer box gets ignored for a week 🍂
Looks harmless right? Wrong. If you’re not checking yours regularly, your pump is working overtime trying to pull water through a wall of soggy leaves.
Restricted flow can lead to the pump shutting down, and with freezing temps on the way, that’s a costly repair waiting to happen.
Worth a quick check every couple of days through autumn. Your pump will thank you for it.

Cloudy pool? Don't blame the weather!
We're seeing a lot of this around Wanaka right now... murky, flat water with the excuse that "it's just the season."
But weather doesn't make a well maintained pool go cloudy. Chemistry does!
These two photos? Same pool. Same location. The difference is the care it received.
