Creating the brand identity for OUT&about Wānaka was about more than designing a logo - it was about creating something that reflects love, inclusion, and belonging.

As someone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community, it was incredibly meaningful to help bring this vision to life. Being able to use my creativity to support a cause that is close to my heart made this project especially rewarding.

From the logo and brandmark to the character designs, every element was created to feel welcoming, colourful, and full of personality. The brand celebrates diversity, encourages connection, and is designed to grow with the community across events, campaigns, and merchandise.

I’m incredibly proud to have created a brand that helps increase visibility, sparks conversations, and supports the amazing work OUT&about Wānaka continues to do for our community. 🌈

A subtle brand refresh can make a big difference.

For Drive Accounting, we refreshed the brand to better reflect who they are today. We introduced a more refined colour palette, layered in custom background textures, and updated the imagery to showcase Wānaka’s stunning landscape.

These small, intentional changes have created a stronger, more cohesive brand experience across their website and marketing, while still holding onto the recognition and trust they’ve built with their clients.

One of my favourite parts of branding is helping businesses evolve without losing what makes them recognisable. A refresh isn’t about changing for the sake of it - it’s about creating a brand that grows alongside the business and continues to connect with the right audience.

For Rosie's Backpackers, we created a playful brand inspired by one of New Zealand's most iconic locals - a kiwi, complete with its own backpack, ready for the next adventure.
