We're Hiring – Machinist
📍 The Sewing Chamber, Timaru
We’re on the lookout for someone to join our friendly team at The Sewing Chamber Timaru. This is a hands-on role in our sewing room, where we create custom curtains, roman blinds, bedding, accessories, and upholstery.
Experience is helpful but not essential – we’ll provide full training. What matters most is that you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with fabric, and take pride in your work.
Tasks may include:
🧵 Measuring fabric
🧵 Ironing and cutting
🧵 Pinning and bagging orders
🧵 Sewing and assisting with production
Hours and days are negotiable – we’re happy to work around the right person.
