It wouldn’t be Friday if we weren’t posting something uniquely beautiful…..so here is a stunning aquamarine and diamond dress ring recently custom made for one of our delightful customers. What a beautiful combination of stones! 🩵🤍🩵

On Sunday, it will be 100 years since the birth of local legend, Phar Lap. We were asked by the South Canterbury Racing Club to design a piece to commemorate this important occasion so Brent has designed this awesome sterling silver lapel pin. It is available for purchase in store at The Ringmakers, or at Sunday’s celebrations at Phar Lap Raceway (on the 4th of October), for $99 🐎.

Happy South Canterbury Anniversary Day! We are making the most of the opportunity to be out and about this weekend, so the shop will remain closed for the public holiday today, but everything is back to normal tomorrow. Fingers crossed for better weather today 🤞.

We thought we’d end the week with a hiss and roar so here is something a little different to the usual. This elegant custom ring was handmade by Brent to the customer’s specifications: it is fully 18ct and has ruby eyes, plus a flowing form which hugs the finger beautifully 🐍.

JUST ARRIVED! 👀 We think this new Bulova Surveyor model will make an awesome presentation watch for those important work or life milestones. It is classically styled and features an open aperture to view the automatic movement’s beating heart and a display window on the case back. It also has a sapphire crystal glass for extra toughness. 💙

What better way to end the week than with some super sparkle?! This stunning handmade engagement ring features a large oval diamond in a simple four claw setting and a diamond-set platinum band to really take it to the next level 😍.

We posted some lovely emerald rings from stock on Friday and we couldn’t resist continuing the theme this week with an absolutely stunning ring commissioned by a lovely customer. Set in white gold, with not a diamond in sight, it is a stunning band and is very seasonally appropriate! 😍

One of the best things about commissioning work rather than buying off the shelf is being able to customise your jewellery. Here is a great example of a sterling silver gents’ cuff handmade with added gold and textural detailing. This extra element really elevates the cuff and it looks very stylish on the wrist 💛.
