Wondering…how many of my lovely clients can relate to this?!

Before your first reflexology session, it's completely normal to wonder what to expect.
Do I need to prepare?
Will it be awkward?
What if I fall asleep?
What if I talk too much?
What if I have ticklish feet?
What if my feet aren't "nice enough"?
The simple answer is: you don't need to overthink it.
Reflexology is a calm, supportive treatment where you stay fully clothed, remove only your shoes and socks, and allow yourself to settle in whatever way feels natural to you.
You can chat. You can stay quiet. You can drift off.
You can ask questions. You can let your reflexologist know if you'd like the pressure adjusted.
There is no perfect way to receive reflexology.
You just arrive as you are, and your reflexologist will guide you from there 👣🌻

Self-regulation refers to the body's ability to adapt to internal and external demands and maintain balance over time. This process is closely linked to the nervous system, particularly the balance between the body's stress response and its rest-and-restore state.
When stress is ongoing, the nervous system can remain over-activated, affecting sleep, digestion, mood, energy levels, and overall wellbeing.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy that encourages deep relaxation and supports nervous system balance. By helping the body move out of a heightened stress response, reflexology may support the body's natural self-regulatory processes.
Reflexology sessions can also increase body awareness, helping individuals become more attuned to internal signals such as tension, fatigue, or emotional strain. Over time, this awareness can support more adaptive responses to stress and improved emotional regulation.
Rather than forcing change, reflexology works gently with the body, supporting its inherent capacity to restore balance. Used alongside healthy lifestyle choices and appropriate medical care, reflexology can play a valuable role in supporting resilience and long-term wellbeing.

Why have regular Reflexology Treatments?
Think about exercise, going to the gym once feels good, going regularly creates lasting benefits.
Reflexology is similar.
Many clients choose monthly treatments after the initial suggested 6 weekly treatments because they enjoy maintaining the sense of relaxation, and balance of wellbeing .
Looking after your health isn’t something you do once! Regular monthly treatments support body and mind to keep functioning in an improved balanced way.
It’s something you choose, one step at a time.
Your future self will thank you 🙏
