🔨 Built better for finer living
Back in April, we spent two days at Puna Pakihi working on our business, meeting other Māori business owners, and picking up ideas we could bring back to Finer Builds. Ngā mihi nui ki Waikato Tainui for the opportunity 🙌
Come with us while we pour the new concrete entrance for our client’s new garage addition 🔨✨
1. Steel tying and prepping everything ready for concrete
2. Concrete truck arrives to load into the hopper and pump line with the crew from & 👌
3. The boys are locked and loaded and ready to pour
4. Screeding and raking starts to get everything levelled out properly
5. More screeding and raking. Taking the time to get it right 6. Mag Float work begins to smooth the surface
7. Edging the concrete. Honestly one of the most satisfying parts to watch 😮💨
8. Steel floating to get that clean finish
9. Broom finishing the concrete for grip and durability
10. Finished product all wrapped up 👏 Ready for retaining wall tidy up tomorrow

Knowing a family is enjoying their space the way they should be means everything to us. Before this project, the kids barely used this part of their home. Now it’s a space they’re in every day.
