Hautapu too good in the end, congratulations Jake on your 50th!

Presented by Grassroots Trust, here are your lineups to take on Hautapu in Cambridge tomorrow, kicking off with our Honda Shop Under 21's at 1:00pm, followed by our Ecolab Premiers at 2:45pm

Its a special day tomorrow as we celebrate our inspirational captain Jake Russ in his 50th and Blazer Game for our Premier side.

Returning home and joining us in 2023 after time with the Kaikorai Rugby Club and Hamilton Boys High School, Jake took over as captain of our Premier side in 2024, leading from the front 35 times and counting and going on to amass 19 tries in his 49 games so far.

A hugely influential and immensely respected figure in our wider Te Awamutu Sports community, it is a richly deserved milestone.

Loose forward Ryan Baillie took out the maximum three points this week in the 2026 Lindsay Berryman MVP race for our Honda Shop Under 21's, while midfield back Jaoquin Burke grabbed two and halfback Joel Connolly one.
