To our many international guests and friends, getting in first to wish you all good health, safe travels and happiness for 2026. Here in NZ it is New Years Eve! Raining, windy, 10.42am and 22⁰
Bare root roses are harvested in NZ in June, and give us their blooms in November - December. Here you can see the roots being lifted from these fields, carefully prepared and ready to make their way to our gardens in July - August, carrying with them the promise of growth and blooms to come. Planted with care, they begin their work beneath the soil, steadily building strength before rewarding your garden with colour, fragrance and beauty 🌹

Our heifer Heidie calved a little girl last night. We have named her Ojai - pronounced oh-hi. She's the last of our herd to calve. She got a warm welcome from the other loving mothers in the herd❤️
