Our Tuakana space have been learning about the rakau sticks. In Te Ao Mฤori, the world is seen as interconnected and collective, with a strong emphasis on community and relationships. Through the rakau stick game, tamariki demonstrate manaakitanga (hospitality and kindness), sharing your knowledge and culture as they all work alongside one and other.
