Te Awamutu Methodist Church

This Sunday 21 December at10 am - our amazing no-rehearsal, chaotic-but-fun Christmas pageant! Leave your inhibitions behind and come prepared to join in - you are welcome to come in costume as your favourite Christmas character! We need angels, shepherds, Marys and Josephs, wise people, stars, even animals (sheep and donkeys), King Herod too. We'd love to see you there 😇

This weekend we celebrate 150 years of the Methodist Church in Te Awamutu! Actually, it's probably longer than that as early records were lost, but it's a good time to celebrate! The 10am service will be professionally livestreamed - please ask us for the link.

Coming up... our annual Hymn Fest when we celebrate all things music! Some old favourites, some new to many of us, but all bringing back memories. Join us at 10am on Sunday March 23 for some great singing and fellowship 💛

Thank you everyone for the great response to our Harvest Festival collection last weekend! The foodbank was very grateful for the help filling their shelves!

Sunday 22 December - come along for our no-rehearsal Christmas pageant... it will either be heaps of fun, or utter chaos! (Probably a mix of the two!!) Little angels and shepherds are welcome, as are Marys and Josephs of all ages! If you would like to come dressed as your favourite character, please do so. 10 am start 🤩

The annual Lessons and Carols service featuring the TAMC Choir will be held this weekend at our 10am service. If you are in the area, you are welcome to come and hear some Advent music old and new, along with some favourite carols as well. See you there!

This Sunday, 15 September, we combine with our Anglican friends for worship at St Johns Anglican Church in Arawata St. (There's no service at TAMC this week.) The service starts at the slightly later time of 10:30am, so we will see you there!

Coming up ... Combined Service. On Sunday 2 June we are hosting our friends from the TA Anglican Parish at our 10am Communion Service. Rev Julie Guest will be preaching. All welcome!

Coming up... Sunday 19 May: not only is this Pentecost Sunday, but Te Awamutu Methodist Church is hosting the Synod Wesley Day service, starting at 5pm. The Vice President of the NZ Methodist Church/Te Hahi Weteriana o Aotearoa, TeRito Peyroux-Semu is our guest preacher.
