Ok. So it's raining on this side of the lake LOL. Some hard core people are out having a hit but I hate running on wet grass.

We're not having an official muster this weekend for NWP but Tama and Huia and kids will be heading down to Puketawhero Park for a hit and run around - if it's dry.

Sunday from 12pmish.

We're unsure if there is a competition this season but will keep you posted.

In the meantime, come down on Sunday for some sun and fresh air and a few hits.

Kia Ora NWP Whanau!

We know there's a few months to go, but it would be great to start whacking some balls again.

Break out the bats and anything round to get our tamariki into the swing of things (excuse the pun ... 😊)

There won't be a muster till term 4, but in the meantime, practice hitting as hard and straight as you can.

Start talking to other whanau about playing Softball this summer. Let's grow our little club and Ngati Whakaue Poiuka teams. Maybe a Matua team this year?

Lovely kai and swim at the pools for NWP 2014-2015.

Far too much food, great swimming and playing.

Our season has finished and what a great season it was!!

We will be having a shared BBQ and mini Prizegiving next Saturday so please come along. We have some lovely tāonga for the kids who have all done so well this season.

Big mihi to our parents too who have supported their tamariki. Way to go Matua mā!

BBQ will be around midday after morning winter sports.

Last games tomorrow. Usual start time, 9am for U6's and 10am for U8-10's.

As Matua A and Matua T have been away for some of this week and this weekend, we will look at a get-together and mini prizegiving next week.

Please matua mā if you could please come along this week and all hands on deck to help. Its our last games, and we got this!!

Practice today whānau

Come along for a bit of a run around. Next two days we'll be holed up inside because of the rain coming so good day for a blow-out.

Shared kai today so if you can, bring some munchies for the kids. Nothing massive.

We'll also talk about our end year wrap up and mini prize giving on our last game day.

Awesome turnout Matua mā. Our team has a great presence at the games.

Our U8-10's are doing great feilding. Their catching, throwing and glove work they're doing at practice is really coming through.

It's Rotorua 'Have a go day' here at Puketawhero Park tomorrow. 11-1pm. Sports and stalls so come down earlier for a kai if you can.
