Join us on 10 July from 5:00am to 7:00am for the Hautapu ceremony, a traditional celebration marking the Māori New Year.

Traditionally, after Hautapu, whānau would gather to feast, play games, and prepare for the year ahead. We invite you to continue the celebrations with our Whānau Day at Rotowhio Marae from 9am - 3pm.

What a couple of incredible days at Te Puia! We had the privilege of hosting some of the Chiefs players, before the full team came together to proudly welcome Moana Pasifika with a pōhiri ahead of last Saturday’s match.

A huge congratulations to both teams for making it an unforgettable occasion at Rotorua International Stadium.

It's not every day a professional drifter stops by Te Puia. We loved having Adam Lz and his crew visit before they headed to Taupō for Rotary REunion. They experienced a pōhiri and guided tour, and for someone whose life moves at full speed, it was special to welcome them to slow down for a moment and leave with a deeper understanding of Māori culture.
