MILFORD TRACK - Fiordland national park 54km

⛰️Fiordland is something else, one of the wettest places on earth, averaging 9m of rain a year, 300 days of rain a year. Moss covered trees, very spooky forests but also very enchanting and magical,
Lots of incredible birdsong, the rivers were the most insane vibrant colors the water was glacial but so refreshing, lush forests, snow, rain and witnessed many many avalanche ❄️

Lash lift + tint = very happy client ❤️

Short, broken lashes possibility due to stomach sleeping and rubbing eyes, lashes can sometimes tricky to get onto the rod, this client was so happy and could instantly see a difference with "extra length" due to the lift.

Well it was a good week away, with my sister, sister in law and all the younger kids, busy but was nice to be away, 32deg temps - pretty happy about the cooler weather here at home if im honest, summer is not my favorite fav season at all.

Unfortunately Australia has left me with a departure gift and I have a nasty headcold with a side of fatigue and nausea 🤧 🤢

I visited the most incredible location in Byron Bay today, so peaceful and the energy was pure magic, I even got to experience my first soundbath using only crystal singing bowls ✨️

How incredible are these smokey crystal quartz geodes, sprinkled with amethyst and calcite crystal flowers - these crystal guardians stand an impressive 5.5mtrs tall and are the tallest in the world!

I'll be back energized and ready to see you all next week 👌

I realize for the past 24mnths whilst I've been studying and been all over the show with casual ambo shifts, I've let myself and alot of others down with the inconsistency of my availability for treatments.

So I'm taking a step back to maintain a healthy balance between the two, and refocus on building my little rural studio client base back up to where I left it, I miss all the familiar faces and the joy it brings me being able to provide my services for the ladies within our community.

Possibly I may go full-time in the future, so far my interviews have been unfruitful - the powers that be have spoken and sometimes things just work out that way because your ment to be elsewhere, I have many exciting add ons to introduce over the next year, I've been attending many trainings and upskilling the last few months during my weekends, alongside some international and domestic training I have booked ✈️ , its going to be very exciting!!!!

I've been a busy bee behind the scenes lately upskilling my current practices as you will see below with a Reki in Healthcare workshop I attended to add toy current Reiki practice, in addition to some new modalities that I intend to incorporate within my treatments, with time there will be some expansion for something very exciting which for now is a well guarded secret 🙊

I feel a real connection and passion for complimentary and supportive therapies and found myself circling back to REIKI and the incredible feeling and sense of overall well-being and calmness it brings - particularly for those navigating palliative illness, trauma & greif healing. ♡

Reiki is the delivery of a "universal life energy" through either light touch or hands-free and received by the recipient through meridian channels throughout the body, promoting relaxation, treating the whole person, bringing the mind, body, emotions and spirit into balance. ✨️

Reiki is beneficial for everyone, not just those who are with illness or experiencing unbalance within themselves.

There are many benefits, Reiki can be extremely beneficial used alongside conventional therapies and medications, especially in a palliative setting.

These include :
🤲An overall sense of peace & calmness
🤲Reduces stress, anxiety and depression
🤲Induces deep sleep, relaxation & self belonging
🤲Promotes internal acceptance & self love
🤲Emotion control & can reduce effects of pain
🤲Heightens intuition & self awareness

Reiki is used in many European hospitals in a palliative settings, its not widely used in NZ in a Healthcare setting, NZ we are missing out!!!!!!

☆☆☆☆ However NZ is slowly coming to the party, and Reiki is slowly filtering through care homes and other establishments via private practitioners like myself ☆☆☆☆

By no means is this a cure or replacement for medication or referred treatment, as above its a complementary therapy in addition and alongside traditional treatments - HOWEVER Reiki can be a stand-alone therapy or used when there are no further options, particularly when the journey of life in this world is almost at a close. 🌅

So with that, if you know someone who you feel many benefit from Reki wether it be 1 or multiple sessions please let me know, tag them or share this post. 🕊

If you have a loved one who is palliative or bedbound I would be happy to travel to you, I need only myself and few special items I bring with me.
