When we mentioned our EV repair challenges when catching up with Chris, he didn’t hesitate. He’s loaning us a demonstration vehicle for the whole month. It arrived yesterday afternoon and it will help make a huge difference for us.

What was once a bit of an abyss is now a beautifully shelved storage solution that’s making life so much easier for our team.

A massive thank you to Brent Johnson Joinery for generously donating the materials to make this happen, and we couldn’t have done it without the skills and time of our brilliant volunteer Bill Hussey, who transformed those materials into exactly what we needed.

Thanks to Simplicity members, good food is finding its way to families who need it most, helping people and the planet. Food rescue looks different across the motu, but the goal is the same, getting good kai to whānau who need it before it becomes waste. The nights are cold, but our hearts are warm 🧡🌏.
