Good Morning/Morena RAZZA 26s' π
I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend break, because Mother nature is about to give us some rain. Oh well, it freshens the air, I suppose, out with the old and in with the new.
Talking about 'new', on Sunday we had our RSAs' AGM. It was a great turnout, a lot of questions, asked and answered, and we begin the year, (sort of) with a new Committee.
Executive Committee
President: Eli Jones
Vice President: Poppet
Treasurer: Ange Rawlings
Secretary: Izzy Thomas
Committee
Tina Hohaia
Doug Miller
Peter Fairweather
Pita Kingi
Linda (Missy) Connolly
Sarah Tongia.
Manager: Richard Ulberg
Your new Committee for 2026.
We sadly say goodbye to Roger Kingsford as President. A wealth of knowledge, a truckload of trust, and a leader for our club as President for 16yrs and 3yrs on the Committee before that. Roger has led us through Covid, closures and hard economic times for our club, but outstandingly kept our doors open for 365 days a year for 16yrs, that is 5,840 days folks, give or take a week or two... We have big shoes to fill, all with his help of course. We are only the students, we need a teacher to guide us. Thank you Rog for everything. We appreciate you. And I will bug you for your expert knowledge. Lol.
As VP I will do my utmost to help our club, as I know Eli will, but I cannot speak for him. But we will work as a team, there in lies the strength of our club. Our very strong club.
So, there you have it RAZZA 26s' π. Let's go hard for our club.

Good Afternoon RAZZA 26s' π.
A gentle reminder to all about your AGM on SUNDAY 31st of MAY at 9.30am, at your club, the Club will be open earlier, so those attending will have enough time to sign in the attendance book, as we always do. And don't forget there is no work on Monday, being KINGS birthday weekend, so for those who stay after the AGM can cheer on the Committee or the POOL Club members or both in our yearly battle of fun. We look forward to seeing you all.

For context: My post is a response to an anonymous poster, who made disparaging remarks about my son and I. Conveniently, the person who wanted to remain anonymous, has since deleted their original post!
GOOD EVENING RAZZA 26s' π
Lastnight an ANONYMOUS person decided to have a crack at me and my son, because he HELPED us out on RACE DAY and ANZAC DAY, he is a qualified Chef, in our kitchen. It was no secret, no conspiracy, he just helped our members out, because the previous kitchen staff chose to resign. So be it.
My word to this so called person/s, is come say it to my face, don't hide behind anonymous anons. You can come at me, but make no mistake!!!, KEEP MY CHILDREN, OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS!!.

PS. Sorry for my post. But that person or persons have crossed my line.
ONE MORE POST RAZZA 26s ππ
We FINALLY have a new CHEF!!!! Yayyyy, starting on the 14th of MAY. All good things do come to those who wait, and this is great for our Club.
A new beginning for us all.
Our new Chef is Arthur Pokia well known Chef who worked at Titahi Bay golf club for many years and came highly recommended. Arthur then moved to Australia and has returned and we are the lucky ones to get him in our kitchen. He is very well known and has a family catering buisness. So, onwards and upwards Members. I will be sharing his MENU with you all on Wednesday. We are so excited.
All usual days and times will be the same.
Thursday-Saturday 5pm-9pm.
We will be talking to Arthur soon, so we will know a lot more then, which we will pass onto you all, concerning catering, etc. Let the happier times roll. Praise the lord.
