We spoke with Kris to get to know him better:
I started as an apprentice when I was 21 through ETCO, spending the majority of my time with Prolight Electrical who were a great company to work for. I spent a good 7 years with them but the goal was to always go out on my own.

Two and a half years ago, the timing seemed right for me to go out on my own, and starting the company made sense financially. In hindsight it turned out to be a rough time to start out, as soon after Covid happened. It has been a weird few years since, but things are looking better and better now.

I always planned to join Master Electricians when starting my own company, that was never in doubt. It's a good look for the company to have the backing of a well-known and trusted brand. Clients like to know they are in safe hands when it comes to their houses and this brand is exactly that. Knowing I have someone to reach out to for technical support, and all of the admin support really just sealed the deal. Having the terms of trade, health and safety and contracts that I can use at will really made growing the company that much easier.
