Grief. It's part of the human condition that we experience due to many kinds of loss. We're better at burying it than expressing it, like so many of our icky emotions. Introductory Grief Tending Workshop; Helensville (evening) A 2.5 hour introductory workshop on 'grief tending', for people who carry any grief and want to learn a new heartfelt, sensitive and meaningful approach to it.

Nothing to watch on Netflix? Bored with books? Come and learn to knit these baby blankets for SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) at Waitakere hospital and enjoy good company. Needles and wool supplied or you can bring your own project. This Wednesday 11th Feb 6-8pm and then fortnightly. $10 koha towards the room and tea/coffee at Connection, Shop 3 at the Helensville Railway Station. Sorry, no trains.....

We will be knitting and knattering at Connection this Wednesday from 6 - 8pm(ish). I'll also bring some supplies for some crafty things to do if knitting isn't your thing, I suspect it's more about the knattering after all 😊😊😊Poster has a few more details. By request: an evening knitting group! Grab a couple of hours out of home, bring a friend, knit for good, talk over the problems of the world (no politics or religion, oh, hang on....)....so just what we can achieve...peace of our own mind and random acts of kindness 😊. $10 towards the room and tea/coffee.

Just a heads up for an evening kawakawa balm workshop this Wednesday 19th from 6-8pm for $35 ( at Connection Hub next to The Shoppe and Ginger Crunch at the railway station), you'll leave with a pot of balm and an understanding of it' properties for family health. Contact Heather 0220366985.

I'm back weaving on Wednesday 8th January after teaching and enjoying all the culture has to offer (singing, dancing language) at the Celtic summer school.
