Powder rooms in 2026 are proving that small spaces can make the biggest statements
⭐️Moody, color-drenched spaces - rich
tones that create drama and depth
⭐️Statement wallpaper - bold patterns
and murals full of personality
⭐️Limewash & Roman clay — soft texture
and movement on the walls
⭐️Fluted details — subtle texture that adds
dimension
⭐️Marble is definately the new hero, forget about white, it’s all about the colour
⭐️Sculptural lighting — fixtures that double
as art

Hi 👋 I have a bit of a love hate relationship with social media, but have lots of bits and pieces going on✔️
A few weeks ago fellow Women’s Institute Ladies and I attended the Middlemore Foundation Morning Presentation.
We contributed from our members, knitting, port pillows, drainage bags, go bags, breast pillows.
On site selecting flooring, carpet and putting together paint colours to work.
A project garden I love, what love about it is my control with nominated plants in their spaces. I’m usually see plants I love and go from there.
Checking out the design ranges … omg the angora felted wool chair fabric felt like heaven.
Other beautiful pieces to make a home.

Hidden Step Stools, Home Office, Pocket Doors and organizer are just the beginning.
Loving the Atlantis Range of pots , definately need some of these in my garden.

2026 in’s and out’s might surprise you. To start, can we all agree that this is the year we lean into being our most authentic selves…
Let what energizes you lead.
Home should be a place where your nervous system can actually calm down, not somewhere you feel obligated to perform trends.
Let’s create a home you love to be in.

The last weeks have had me doing a few different things.
A design talk to the Karaka Women’s Institute, where I am a founding member.
Attending a fab talk by the talented and personable Tom Webster - had a wee fan moment.
Lots of fudge and melting moments baking for the Karaka Women’s Institute Stall.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers, it enables us to then gift back $$ to our speakers and charities during the year.
Last lot of hand knitted beanies by me, delivered to the Papakura Maternity Hospital.
