On Tuesday 2nd of June between 5:50 to 6:00am which was still dark copper thieves ripped our downpipe and ripped 10 meter copper gutter off our roof, we can hear the sounds while they were doing it and have descriptions of a car involved, now we need anyone who drove past our shop on that morning, specially if you have dashcam in your vehicle please contact us, thank you.🙏

This hall has been in the community for almost 100 years, in recent years it hasn't been used as much. I remember it being used a lot more in the past for weddings, birthdays, community markets, christmas carols, even school events and so on (i've lived here 36 years and the store has been a collection point for the keys). A proactive hall committee can really make all the difference. It needs some work, but as in the past, we have fundraised for maintenance and upgrades without issue. I'm of the opinion that once you lose rural community halls like this, you'll never get it back. But that's just my view, you can have your say at the link.

If you are a younger person that wants to try your hand with introductory governance work, please submit the form expressing your interest to join; the hall committee needs fresh ideas from younger generations to help it forward.
