Kimichi, originally from Korea, is sour, tangy, salty, spicy and umami. My favourite way to eat it is to fry some bacon and cooked rice, stir through kimchi and serve with an egg on top.

MOJITO with detox water kefir is perfect after a big night out. It’s refreshing and super hydrating, very low in sugar and also contains dandelion root and herb, milk thistle fruit, burdock root and nettle leaf to support liver health.
It’s also lovely with a drop of Bacardi. 🍹

The Orewa Grocer is up and running today in the old veggie shop by New World. They’ve even got a spot by the fridge for your empty bottles ❤️.

I’m really enjoying this Blackcurrant kefir at the moment, it’s super low in sugar, crisp, dry and really hydrating. Made with NZ Blackcurrants, a nutritional superstar berry. Cheers!

A little bit of recent research on probiotics and Covid. More and more studies show different results from specific strains of bacteria, and yes, L paracasei is included in my Kefir.

Look who’s back for summer - Mojito water kefir, but I’ve also added some natural detox herbs. Lovely on its own, or with a bit of white rum. Perfect on a gorgeous sunny day like today 🏖🥂☀️

How’s lockdown going? Drinking a bit more alcohol than usual? I am, but I’ve found a lovely combination of this kawakawa gin and my Ginger, Beetroot & Kawakawa Kefir. This flavour is a very low 2% sugar and is packed full of electrolytes to help prevent any hangovers.
