This week has been another reminder of why I do what I do.

Behind every policy is a person, a family, a story and a life.

It’s easy to think of insurance as paperwork, premiums and policies… but when someone needs to make a claim, it suddenly becomes very real.

And that’s when having someone in your corner matters.

I’m grateful for every client who trusts me to help protect what matters most to them and for the opportunity to be there when they need it most.

Your KiwiSaver is your money — so why leave it completely on autopilot?

Many of us choose a fund, set up our contributions and then forget about it.

But KiwiSaver isn’t just about contributing. It’s about understanding where your money is going and how it’s being managed.

Your fund choice, investment approach and how your money is managed can all make a difference over time.

And the good news?

You don’t have to be a financial expert to ask questions.

We’re all lifelong learners, and making informed decisions starts with understanding the options available to you.

So don’t just ask, “Am I in KiwiSaver?”
Ask, “Is my KiwiSaver working for me?”

Because sometimes, a little knowledge can make a big difference.

KiwiSaver is set and forget. I don’t need to manage it.

✅TRUTH:
Your KiwiSaver is your money and it’s worth knowing what it’s doing.

The fund you’re in, how your money is invested and whether it still suits your goals can all matter over the long term.

It’s easy to set up your KiwiSaver and forget about it… but when was the last time you actually checked it?

I’m a big believer in making your money work as hard as it can for you, not simply leaving it on autopilot.

Don’t just have KiwiSaver. Understand it.

This week has been another week full of claims, and it’s been a good reminder of why having the right protection matters.

As we get closer to the end of the year, we’re all getting tired and busy. It’s easy to let our own health slip down the priority list.

With so many cancer awareness campaigns and health reminders around this time of year, it’s a good opportunity to ask ourselves:

When was the last time you had a check-up or screening?

If it’s been a while, maybe it’s time to book that appointment you’ve been putting off.

Looking after ourselves is just as important as protecting everything else we’ve worked so hard for.

Can provide a lump-sum payment if you’re diagnosed with a specified serious illness, such as certain cancers.

They do different jobs.

Most of us know someone whose life has been impacted by cancer. ❤️

Knowledge is power.
Knowing what you are covered for can make all the difference.

This week, I’m feeling especially grateful. 🤍

Two client meetings meant travelling to them, at times that worked around their lives.

And I’ve submitted 3 claims for clients, helping them through the moments when having the right cover really matters.

It’s easy to think insurance is all about policies, premiums and paperwork.

But behind every policy is a person, a family and a real life.

Being able to make things a little easier for my clients is something I never take for granted.

This week, I’m thankful for the trust, the conversations and the opportunity to help.

That’s what it’s really about. 🤍

Once I’ve got insurance, I can just leave it alone.

Not quite.

Your insurance might still be in place, but your life probably isn’t exactly the same as when you took it out.

New mortgage?
More children?
Changed jobs?
Income changed?
Health needs changed?
Different priorities?

And here’s the part many people don’t realise:

The insurance market changes too.

New products come out. Insurers change their pricing. Different insurers may become more competitive for certain types of cover.

So having insurance is one thing.

Knowing it still fits your life and that you’re not paying more than you need to is another.

That’s why it’s worth checking in from time to time.
