A pretty cool email landed in our inbox recently from a group of Hawke’s Bay high school students looking for sponsorship for their robotics team, The Round Eye Pirates. Theroundeyepirates.ftc

They’re taking part in the FIRST Tech Challenge, where they’ll design, CAD, manufacture, program and compete with their own custom-built robot.

We were more than happy to help at Foxbyte, so we jumped onboard as a sponsor.

Then they told us we were their first sponsor… which made me think there must be a few more Hawke’s Bay businesses out there who’d love to get behind them too.
