When you invest with or borrow from WBS, you can feel good about doing your part to give back to our community. We donate our distributable profits to the WBS Charitable Trust, who in turn grant funds to local community groups doing good. It's a win win.
Thanks to the Wairarapa Midweek for publishing this story today. And thanks to all the grantees for supporting our local community.
Our profits stay local, supporting organisations like Featherston Vinyl Club.
Through the WBS Charitable Trust, we provided a grant to help the Featherston Vinyl Club purchase sound equipment for local events.
The WBS Charitable Trust supports a wide range of groups and initiatives with grants that make a real difference across the Wairarapa.
By partnering with WBS for your lending or investing, you too are supporting groups like this, and we reckon that's something to be proud of.

In October last year, the Wairarapa Fern & Thistle Pipe Band successfully applied to the WBS Charitable Trust for a grant to help them purchase a shade tent. With the tent now up and running, the band were pleased to report that it's 'of great benefit to our band, keeping players and supporters shaded on summer days and dry on wet days'. They're also stoked with the tent because it provides a visible base for everyone to see.
We love what you do, Wairarapa Fern & Thistle Pipe Band. Keep up the great work.

Not sure whether to go term or call with your savings?
It comes down to flexibility vs return.
Term investments lock your money in for a set period, with a fixed interest rate for certainty.
Call investments give you access to your funds at any time, offering flexibility with a variable return.
If you’re weighing up your options, the team at WBS can help you find the right fit for your investment needs.
Good luck to Jared and Casey as they fundraise for their upcoming school rugby exchange to Wales.
They've been working hard to raise funds for this incredible opportunity, and we're pleased to be able to support them along the way.
Give their page a follow, and if you're able to support their fundraising efforts, we'd love to see the Wairarapa community get behind them.
Best of luck, boys!
