Wellington Lions Skills & Drills Clinics – Petone Rugby Club 7th July 2-3pm

Brought to you by CareVets & Te Waka Whaiora, these clinics are your chance to connect with the Wellington Lions as they get out into communities across the region ahead of the 2026 NPC season.

This is a great chance for young players and clubs to engage with the Lions squad, whether that is through skills, tips or simply sharing in the excitement of the upcoming season.

Our players are looking forward to getting out on the field and giving back to our community.

It’s National Volunteers Week!

Here at Petone Juniors we are truly blessed to have so many incredible volunteers who selflessly give their time and energy to support our club and make it thrive, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who make our club so fantastic.

A few special shout outs to the unsung heroes of our juniors - those behind the scenes ❤️

Our Junior convenors Rewa & Cheryl who live and breathe Petone junior rugby 🏉

Kirsten & Anna, what don’t these amazing ladies do? They run the kiosk, help with the bar and are always lending a hand to keep our little ones well fed with delicious hot chips and hot dogs! 🍟

Hayden & Annie from social media, managing subs, uniform shop and everything in between, these two are the lifeblood of Petone rugby 💙

Dan has not only coached our Y8 team this year but has worked tirelessly along with a wonderful group of supporters to raise funds for our year 8’s to attend a tournament in Queenstown. 🌟
