Keeping Kaikohe's water flowing while the upgrade happened. 💧

Bellcon recently completed a major upgrade to the Kaikohe Water Treatment Plant, including a new 1.5 million-litre storage reservoir to significantly strengthen the town's resilience to future droughts.

During construction, Condor deployed 2 XXL Water Treatment Systems to act as temporary clarifiers, ensuring the plant could continue treating water without interruption while the new infrastructure went in.

Our XXL units are purpose-built for exactly this kind of critical application. A great outcome for the Kaikohe community and a fantastic project to be part of alongside the team at Bellcon!

Condor is proud to be part of one of NZ's biggest infrastructure projects right now - Ōtaki to North of Levin: Te Pae o Tararua! 🚧

This 24km, four-lane expressway along State Highway 1 is going to transform safety and resilience for the Horowhenua District and the lower North Island - a genuinely generational piece of roading infrastructure.

We're on site, keeping things moving with:
💧 Pumps: dewatering across the full corridor
💧 Condor XXL Water Treatment Systems: treating groundwater and site runoff before discharge
💧 Water Carts: dust suppression across the active construction zone

From dewatering to dust, it's about making sure a project this size leaves as light a footprint as possible. Proud to be playing our part!

May's Core Values Champion: Lewis!

Every month, we celebrate a team member who really shows what Condor is all about. This month, we're pumped to recognize Lewis, our Regional Operations Manager in Auckland!

Lewis is doing fantastic work managing our Auckland operations – driving growth, getting results, and keeping our team vibing together at the same time.

His colleagues said it perfectly: "Always keen to work and get stuck into anything thrown his way, great team player."

Lewis is exactly what we need in a regional manager - results-focused, a problem-solver, and genuinely invested in his team. That's what makes the difference!

Proud to be supporting Sao Contractors on the Tupua Horo Nuku project at Sunshine Bay, Eastbourne!

This 4.4km seawall and shared path along Marine Drive is going to make a real difference for the Eastbourne community - strengthening the coastline for generations to come.

With pipe installation happening just metres from Wellington Harbour, water management doesn't get much more critical than this. Our Condor 4D Lite pump is handling dewatering in a tight coastal environment, and our Condor XXL Water Treatment System is making sure every litre discharged is well below consented limits - keeping the harbour clean and the project on track.

No margin for error out here, and the team is absolutely delivering. Great work to everyone on site! 💪

Why does the shape of a clarifier matter so much in water treatment? 💧

Our Water Treatment Systems use a channel-shaped Lamella Clarifier System - and it's not just a design choice, it's an engineering advantage.

The channel shape maximises settlement area within a compact footprint, dramatically increasing the surface area available for sediment to settle per m². The XXL WTS delivers 40m² of settlement area and 40m³/hr of flow in a unit just 4.5m long.

Cleaner treated water, faster - for groundwater treatment, dewatering, piling, dredging, stream works, quarry wash plants, and more.

Smart geometry. Real-world results.

When the job calls for it, we bring the kit! 💪

Here are some more shots from the stream bypass operation at Cannons Creek Park in Porirua, where the team has been working alongside JFC to keep things flowing - literally.

To divert 60 metres of live stream while the stormwater inlet gets replaced, we put together a pump setup that could handle whatever the site threw at us, including 3x 6" pumps and an 8" pump.

Getting the equipment right is everything on a job like this. The right setup means the site stays dry, the environment stays protected, and JFC's crew can get on with the work safely underground.
