On Thursday 28th August the Lower Hutt Memorial RSA made a donation of $5000 to the Te Omanga Hospice. The donation will be used to purchase new syringe drivers for their patients. Syringe drivers determine amounts of medication infused into a patient on an ongoing basis and cost approx $2500 each.
The formal handing over of the cheque was done by Chairman of the LHRSA Trust Dennis Davidson (pictured) and Vice President of the LHMRSA Campbell Sutherland to Biddy Harford CEO of Te Omanga Hospice. Biddy can be seen holding a syringe driver in the photo.
