😊The PAST BOOK came up on my Facebook feed so I ordered one.

📸 So many photos from the fashion shows, designers gear, things I have made over the years from recycled materials. Even a couple of photos of contract assignments.

Slow stitched brooches incorporating discarded harakeke flax putiputi flowers.

These flowers were found by the side of the road after someone was having a major declutter and clean out had put all their unwanted items on the footpath outside their house.

I realised that the flowers, looking very sad in a box of trinkets would likely end up in landfill so decided to save them for my brooches.

This mornings recycle project from a jumper that was unwearable. The knit fabric was perfect on the inside for four wide stretch headbands.

I was sort of in charge of organising Christmas this year in Kaikoura. The deserts were yummy. Vinnie spent Christmas with his mum in Christchurch and I met him there Boxing Day for a three day explore around Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts.
