Here’s another haul of bikes ready to be fixed up and given away to our priority members (rangatahi and community service card holders. We couldn’t do this mahi without our volunteers who use their weekend to serve our community. This is not a@paid job for most of us, we do it for the love of our community and to seed community led change. This is our superpower. 🙏🏼🚴🙌🏽

Thanks to Mud Cycles and EkeRua ReBicycle we picked up 11 donated bikes for fixing and redistributing to our eligible members. Thanks to Hutt City Council for supporting this mahi. .

Free Ride is running a feeder ride to this awesome event on June 20th. Register on our website at www.freeride.nz and there will be some e-bikes you can use (but get in quick), all bikes are welcome including BYO e bikes, we'll meet at 4.30 at Daly Street, liaise with the rave crew at Petone at 5.30 and ride with them to the Ngauranga cycle bridge, stopping to dance here and there and then returning to Daly Street. Children are welcome, as long as they can make the ride and are accompanied by adults. It's gonna be so much fun, so join us for the Winter Solstice Bike Rave.
