Love trying new ways to bring the stories bottled up in my head to life. First canvas piece in progress. A lot harder than I thought but hei aha, soldier on 🫡
Wanted to create a special piece for my māmā turning 60. Inspired by the amazing mahi of the bro over at Explicit Studio. I spent hours drawing, rubbing out then redrawing the design but once I hit the mirror, aue started drawing up something completely different again but it all worked out.
You may think I’ve veered off track but believe me this all connects 🤎 And if you believe you can! YOU CAN!

I built my pakihi specialising in beauty services, later adding fine line tattoos. Although I love the mahi I do, I started to feel like my pakihi wasn’t fully aligned with who I am and what I truly wanted to be doing.
That’s when I started my journey into Māori toi and te ao Māori. I’m now following this huarahi to reconnect with my culture, deepen my understanding & grow my skills.
