Great mahi Southland Student Volunteer Army 💙

Last night, former SBHS Student Volunteer Army Ambassador Jacob Wilkinson-Hall, alongside volunteers Gabriel Garcia and Addy Forrester, had the opportunity to speak at Rotary EAST Invercargill .

We shared the impact the Student Volunteer Army is making across New Zealand and right here in Southland — and how young people are stepping up to support their communities.

A big thank you to Rotary East Invercargill for having us!

Each year, our club proudly sponsors a select group of students from JHSS Campus to attend the Rotary Science and Technology Forum in Auckland.

After the forum, these inspiring young people join us to share their experiences — and for many, it’s truly life-changing.

If you’re interested in becoming a member, making a meaningful difference in our local community, and connecting with like-minded business professionals, we’d love to hear from you.

Simply send us a message to learn more.

🌟✨ Celebrating Excellence in Our Community! ✨🌟

Tonight, the Rotary East Club of Invercargill East had the immense pleasure of honoring the remarkable Kate French!
Named among the Top 50 women in food and wine in Aotearoa New Zealand, Cuisine Magazine

Kate captivated us all with her journey.

The Batch Cafe

Surrounded by proud family—her parents, sister, partner, and in-laws—we experienced a night filled with warmth and inspiration. 🌷❤️ Her father's long-standing membership with our club made this moment even more special!

Tonight was not just a celebration of her achievements but also a celebration for Invercargill.
