rodeo grounds at Otatara. We welcome all new members.
Our Association is committed to fostering a strong rodeo community, supporting all divisions of the port, and encouraging participation at every level! We are a group of like minded people
who have a love for horses and rodeo which we dedicate time too,
to support the sport.

Last night we had the absolute honour of awarding Life Membership Buckles to two very special women, Irene Tresidder and Barb Clouston
Both Irene and Barb have given years of dedication, hard work, and heart to our rodeo community. Their contribution goes far beyond the arena — from supporting events behind the scenes, to being part of the backbone that keeps Southland rodeo strong.
These Life Memberships recognise not just what they have done, but the spirit they bring — commitment, resilience, and a genuine love of rodeo and its people.
Please join us in congratulating Irene and Barb on this well-deserved honour 👏
