The deep end of the main pool will be unavailable:
👉 Sunday 12:30pm - 5pm

The facility will otherwise be open as normal this weekend.

The Southern Star U13 Marching team had a ball last night as they celebrated their prize night with the Southland Sharks 🏀🥳

Hydroslides, delicious Liquid Cafe catering, plenty of laughs, and a chance to hang out with the Sharks crew - the girls certainly made the most of it as part of winning this year’s Splash Palace Sports Competition.

Ka pai team, a fantastic bunch to have through and a great way to celebrate.

Congratulations to the Southern Stars U13 Marching Team – winners of the 2026 Southland Sharks Sports Competition! 🎉🏀

We were blown away by the competition response this year. We received 137 nominations from across Southland – a huge increase on last year and a reflection of the incredible people, teams and organisations in our community.

The Southern Stars U13s stood out for their dedication, teamwork and determination. After training tirelessly throughout the season, they recently achieved outstanding results at the Marching New Zealand National Championships, including being crowned NZ Champion Display Team and placing 3rd in the NZ Champion Technical Team competition.

As part of their prize, the team will enjoy a special Southland Sharks meet-and-greet next week, with delicious catering from Liquid Café, private hydroslide access, goodie bags and more.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination. The calibre of entries was exceptional, and we're proud to celebrate the amazing people doing great things across Murihiku Southland.
