Yesterday Eithne from Project Jonah came to visit us to teach us about whales and dolphins. She taught us about the different parts of a whale and dolphin. Tamariki then went outside and found a stranded whale in our sandpit! Eithne helped us to save it by pouring water on it to keep it wet. ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฌ Thank you so much Eithne from the Jonah Project for these exciting morning!

Happy Japanese Childrenโ€™s Day!
We celebrated by making our own koi fish windsock (Koinobori) to represent the strength of the koi that can swim up waterfalls, that children of that family will grow up strong. We hope our tamariki can grow up strong like koi fish too! We also decorated our own Kabuto hats! Thank you so much to our amazing kaiako for setting up these amazing activities. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by such rich culture ๐ŸŽ
