ANZAC 2026

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

Anzac Day Parades and Services 2026 Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country.

After returning from a fantastic Nationals contest in Wellington, we are sadly saying goodbye (for now) to Tino, our Principal Euphonium, as he steps back to spend more time with his family.
Tino has been an integral part of Howick Brass for 25 years — a remarkable contribution that has helped shape the band into what it is today. His unwavering support, encouragement of fellow players, and of course his beautiful musicianship have meant so much to us all.
We are hopeful this isn't a farewell, but simply a well-earned rest.
Thank you, Tino, for everything you've given to Howick Brass. You will always be part of the band family

On the Central plateau on our 9 hour trek back from NZ National Band Contest and should be able to see this volcano…. But it’s cloudy….
Still we are happy coming 2nd in Own Choice and 5th out of 10 overall in C grade😁

Last performance done - and you can definitely see the relief on our faces!

Now we wait for the results...

A huge thank you to Matt, our conductor, for his knowledge, patience, and leadership over the past three months of preparation.
