Southern Rugby Club Hawera

Congratulations to our Chairman - Lionel Shaw . An outstanding achievement and well deserved for all the time you spend refereeing and upskilling others 🦈

Congratulations to Lionel Shaw on an outstanding 30 years as sideline manager at Stadium Taranaki.
Lionel has also made a huge contribution to the Taranaki Rugby Referees’ Association, including several years on the executive, including a stint as chairman and helping develop referees in South Taranaki.
As a token of our appreciation, we presented Lionel with a plaque to recognise his achievement at our life members and sponsors event before the Taranaki v Hawke's Bay match at The Fitz.
Lionel said he will stand down from the sideline manager role at the end of this year.
Congratulations, Lionel, and thank you for your tremendous service to Taranaki rugby.
