FREE Girls & Women's Skate Class + Jam 🛹
Join Wellness Riders at Base Spaces, Silo Park for an afternoon of skating, learning and connecting!
This relaxed, supportive session is focused on creating a positive space for girls and women of all ages and abilities to build confidence, learn new skills, connect with others and enjoy a fun afternoon together.
Start with a welcoming coached skate session, followed by an open jam with plenty of time to practise, connect and have fun.
What to expect:
• Coaching and support for all levels
• Limited skateboards and protective gear available to borrow — please bring your own if you have it
• Light refreshments
• Beats + good vibes
• A supportive, pressure-free environment

SKATE & BEATS — FREE ADAPTIVE SKATE EVENT 🛹🎶
We’re bringing Skate & Beats to the amazing Base Spaces, Silo Park on Auckland’s waterfront for a relaxed, inclusive session of skateboarding, music, connection and good vibes ✨
This free adaptive session is for all ages and abilities, including neurodivergent and disabled participants, or anyone who may benefit from a little extra support or a more adapted approach to learning💛

It’s a relaxed drop-in style event, so you’re welcome to arrive anytime during the session. We’ll run small group rotations of around 30 minutes, with approximately 5 participants per group to help keep things calm, supportive and spacious.
For easiest access, approach via Hamer Street, directly beside the colourful Silo Park Basketball Art Courts. Participants needing closer access can be dropped off on the Hamer Street side, as close to the courts as permitted. Street parking is available around Hamer Street and the wider Silo Park / Wynyard Quarter area.

QUEENSTOWN — FREE YOUTH SKATEBOARDING SESSION 🏔️🛹✨
We’re super excited to be bringing our Southern Lakes skate programme to Queenstown these school holidays, with free youth skateboarding classes across Wānaka and Queenstown, supported by Sport Otago.
A massive shout out to Sport Otago for backing our kaupapa and helping us bring these free skate sessions to the Southern Lakes.
We’re also stoked to be teaming up with Whakatipu Youth Trust for our Queenstown youth session — helping local young people get involved and providing transport support for those coming along through the Trust 💛
This session is all about creating a fun, welcoming space for young people to give skateboarding a go, build confidence, learn new skills and connect with others.
We’ve got an awesome local coaching crew who can’t wait to share the stoke and help empower youth🥰

WĀNAKA — FREE ADAPTIVE SKATEBOARDING SESSION🏔️🛹✨
We’re so excited to be launching our first Southern Lakes skate programme these school holidays, with four free youth skateboarding classes across Wānaka and Queenstown, supported by Sport Otago.
A massive shout out to Sport Otago for backing our kaupapa and helping us bring these free skate sessions to the Southern Lakes.
We’re also stoked to be teaming up with Mint Charitable Trust for our Wānaka adaptive session — bringing together a shared love of inclusive, supportive opportunities for people to get active, build confidence and have a go.
This session is designed for participants (age 5-25) who may benefit from a little extra support, a more relaxed environment, or an adapted approach to learning — including neurodivergent and disabled participants.
We’ve got an awesome coaching crew on board who can’t wait to get rolling with the local community🥰
